Meet Alyssa Meehan

Hello! My name is Alyssa. I started training dogs at Seattle Agility Center when I was 10 years old with my boxer/Rottweiler mix, Tank. I then added my boxer, Saige, to the mix a couple years later. I took a little hiatus through high school and college, and now I'm back! I'm currently working with my crazy boxer, Maverick.

Training and loving dogs has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. From dog sitting, 4H, obedience, agility - if it involved dogs, I wanted to be a part of it. I even had my AKC dog breed book memorized front to back as a child.

In my day job, I am a special education teacher for kindergarten through fifth grade. So when I was asked to join the Seattle Agility Center team, I couldn't have been more excited to combine my two passions - teaching and dogs.
