Meet Christina Boling

I first started working with dogs as a volunteer at the Connecticut Humane Society. I learned about positive reinforcement training and discovered that dog training, and dogs, were my passion.

During college, I started a professional pet sitting and dog training business under the name Connecticut Pet Sitter, LLC, while simultaneously running a rescue for high energy, difficult to place herding dogs. After seven years of pet sitting and rescue work, I moved to Washington state, where I worked as a Veterinary Assistant before accepting a position as Practice Manager at a mobile clinic in Oregon.

In addition to hundreds of hours of volunteer time for various animal rescues around the country, I also volunteered for a year with Aurum Canine Services in Minnesota, a small company that trains service dogs for disabled individuals. I continue to work in the veterinary industry and am currently employed at a vet clinic in Issaquah while I pursue an advanced degree in animal behavior.

I have dabbled in agility and dock diving with my Border Collies, though my passion sport is bikejoring, otherwise known as dryland mushing. Outside of dogs, I am a writer and avid adventurer. My fiancé and I live in a 2021 converted Sprinter Van with our Border Collie, Pan.
